Drummer Ron Smith began piano lessons at age 5 and finally convinced his parents to let him start drum lessons at age 10. Ron played drums in high school band, orchestra, jazz band, and musicals from grade school through college. He started in his first ensemble in sixth grade and played in bands and jazz combos into adulthood. He is a board member of the Blues Society of the Ozarks and has been actively playing in local bands over the past decade before co-founding No Static. Give him the music that grooves and swings - especially blues, jazz fusion, and R&B! Ron has been a longtime fan of the Beatles but his first love was big band music, including Count Basie, Stan Kenton, and Maynard Ferguson. He also loves the fusion sounds of Blood, Sweat, & Tears, Herbie Hancock, and Steely Dan.

Keyboardist and Lead Vocalist Bill Ed Huff has been playing piano since age 7 and keys in rock bands since age 12, when he began songwriting and went on to study music composition at the University of Memphis where he won an ASCAP award and several other honors for his original works. Bill Ed gigged throughout the Memphis & mid-south area doing rock, soul, gospel, and blues for 20 years before coming home to Missouri to continue his music career. His original music is available on billedhuff.com, all streaming outlets, and the Facebook page: Bill Ed Huff Art and Music.
